Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Normal Is Weird Autopilot (the “Application”) handles information when used by the owner of the Normal Is Weird YouTube channel.
Information the Application accesses
After the channel owner authorizes access through Google OAuth, the Application may retrieve read-only YouTube data, including:
- channel and video identifiers, titles, publication dates, and public status;
- views, watch time, average view duration, average percentage viewed, likes, comments, shares, and subscriber-related aggregates when available;
- video audience-retention reports and format-specific analytics when YouTube makes them available through its APIs.
The current authorization does not allow the Application to upload, publish, edit, or delete YouTube videos, comments, playlists, or channel metadata.
How information is used
Authorized data is used only to analyze channel performance, save historical analytics snapshots, maintain production records, and develop evidence-informed lessons for future Normal Is Weird videos and Shorts.
Storage and retention
OAuth credentials and production data are stored in the channel owner’s private environment. Analytics history may be retained while it remains useful to the owner’s production workflow. The owner can delete stored records or disconnect Google access at any time.
Sharing and sale
Google user data is not sold. It is not used for advertising, credit decisions, or profiling unrelated to the Normal Is Weird channel. It is not shared with third parties except service providers needed to operate the private infrastructure, where applicable, or when required by law.
Google API Services
The Application’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Security
Access is limited to the channel owner. OAuth credentials are treated as confidential and are not placed in public source code. Reasonable safeguards are used to protect stored data, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and deletion
The channel owner may revoke the Application’s Google access at any time from the Google Account connections page. To request deletion of locally retained OAuth credentials, analytics history, or production records, email privacy@normalisweirdmedia.com.
